Protecting cucumbers in film greenhouses
Among the common cucumber diseases there are viral, fungal and bacterial ones.
Root rot can spread significantly if the water and temperature conditions are not observed, causing the death of both young and adult plants. They are caused by fungal pathogens such as Fusarium oxysporum, Pythium debaryanum, Verticillium albo-atrum, Rhizoctonia aderholdii and bacterial Pectobacterium (Erwinia) carotovorum.
Viral diseases. Most often, cucumbers are affected by the cucumber common mosaic virus (CMV) and the cucumber green mottled mosaic virus (CGMMV).
